Basic View For Aligning Eyes & Shoulders

  1. Aim bold line arrow towards intended target
(a 6-8 foot length putt suggested)
  2. Place ball in front of arrow on mirror
(a ball with an ink line added is suggested)
  3. Align eyes and shoulders parallel to the arrow; then, place putter face square to the arrow point and intended target line
  4. Stroke the putt back and through and “Roll the Line” towards the target
  5. A well struck putt will produce a solid looking stripe on the ball as it rolls. It is what we call “roll the line.”

NOTE: The mirror is convex and objects appear smaller. When you focus your eyes on the mirror circle and your eyes are parallel to the line, your alignment is correct and your left eye is over the ball. It is also acceptable to focus your eyes slightly below the mirror circle and parallel to the line.
